Terms of use

These terms are the agreement between you and ZNext ("we", "us") for using the ZNext app and znext.app. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use ZNext.
The beta
ZNext is in a closed beta. Features may change, break or disappear, and we may reset test data with notice in the app. We offer the beta free of charge and as it is, without any promise that it will always be available.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old.
- Give your real home country. Rooms are built on it, and a false one puts you in rooms that are not meant for you.
- Keep access to your email and your Google or Apple account safe. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- One person, one account. Do not impersonate anyone.
What you may not do
- Post anything illegal, including content that sexually exploits children, which we report to the authorities.
- Threaten, harass or incite hatred or violence against anyone, including because of their nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender or sexuality.
- Send spam, scams, or unsolicited advertising, or collect other people's data.
- Share other people's private information or intimate images without their consent.
- Infringe copyright or other rights.
- Attack, overload, reverse engineer or get unauthorised access to ZNext or other people's accounts.
Your content
What you send stays yours. You give us the permission we need to store it, process it and deliver it to the people you send it to, and nothing more. Group, room and channel admins can remove messages in their spaces.
Moderation
We may remove content, limit features or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law. Where we can, we tell you why. If you think we got it wrong, write to [email protected].
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app or as described on this page. What happens to your data is explained in the privacy policy.
Liability
We work to keep ZNext running and safe, but we are not liable for messages other people send you, for lost content, or for indirect damage, to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.
Changes
We will tell you in the app before a significant change to these terms takes effect. If you keep using ZNext after that, the new terms apply.
